Rental Terms & SOP

Standard operating rules for paddle and gear rentals on PickleLeagues.

Rentals are currently company-managed by PickleLeagues.

1) Booking and Eligibility

  • Rental requests must include requested start and end dates.
  • Bookings are not confirmed until status is Approved.
  • Approved bookings may be declined if pickup identity cannot be verified.

2) Pickup and Return SOP

  • Pickup and return must happen in a public venue or approved club/facility desk.
  • Owner and renter should verify item condition together at pickup.
  • Owner and renter should verify return condition before closing rental as Returned.

3) Deposits, Damage, and Late Returns

  • Listings may include a deposit amount to cover loss or damage risk.
  • Renter accepts responsibility for material damage beyond normal wear.
  • Late returns may be subject to additional charges based on agreed rental terms.

4) Safety and Compliance

  • Do not exchange items in unsafe locations or without identity verification.
  • Do not share sensitive payment credentials in chat messages.
  • Use in-app rental request statuses for auditability.

5) Disputes and Enforcement

  • PickleLeagues may suspend rental access for repeated cancellations, abuse, or fraud risk.
  • All users are expected to keep communication respectful and factual.
  • For disputes, include photos, dates, and condition notes in your support request.
